It serves as an essential guide to humans to develop better and healthier well-being. Medicinal plants possess phytoconstituents which exhibit enormous therapeutic effects.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Aims<\/em>: To evaluate the <em>in vitro<\/em> and <em>in vivo<\/em> anti-inflammatory activity of <em>Macaranga peltata<\/em> (MPCF) and <em>Pongamia pinnata<\/em> (PPEAF) fractions and estimate the phytochemicals responsible for their therapeutic action.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Methods<\/em>: Plant extracts and fractions were tested for their <em>in vitro<\/em> anti-inflammatory properties using the bovine serum albumin method and <em>in vivo<\/em> activity using the carrageenan-induced rat paw edema model. The selected fragments were analyzed for phytochemicals such as flavonoids, tannins, and total phenolics.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Results<\/em>: The extract yields indicate that <em>P. pinnata<\/em> contains non-polar compounds and <em>M. peltata<\/em> contains polar phytocompounds. Both the MPCF and PPEAF were found to contain flavonoids. El conocimiento herbario tradicional es la mejor gu\u00eda para que los seres humanos desarrollen un bienestar mejor y m\u00e1s saludable. Las plantas medicinales poseen fitoconstituyentes que muestran enormes efectos terap\u00e9uticos.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Objetivos<\/em>: Evaluar la actividad antiinflamatoria <em>in vitro<\/em> e <em>in vivo<\/em> de las fracciones de <em>Macaranga peltata<\/em> (MPCF) y <em>Pongamia pinnata<\/em> (PPEAF) y estimaci\u00f3n de los fitoqu\u00edmicos responsables de la acci\u00f3n terap\u00e9utica.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>M\u00e9todos:<\/em> Se probaron extractos y fracciones de plantas para determinar sus propiedades antiinflamatorias <em>in vitro<\/em> utilizando el m\u00e9todo de alb\u00famina s\u00e9rica bovina y su actividad <em>in vivo<\/em> utilizando un modelo de edema de pata de rata inducido por carragenina. La estimaci\u00f3n de fitoqu\u00edmicos como flavonoides, taninos y fen\u00f3licos totales se realiz\u00f3 para fracciones seleccionadas.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Resultados<\/em>: Los rendimientos de los extractos mostraron que <em>P. pinnata<\/em> contiene compuestos no polares y <em>M. peltata <\/em>contiene fitocompuestos polares.
